After lunch, I decided to try out snowboarding. All of us went up to one of the curvy slopes. Two already knew how to snowboard. Two had the morning to learn. While two had absolutely no experience. I was one of the two with no experience. I didn't know how to heel or toe (I just knew the concept, but never done it). When we reach the top of the slope, I get stuck on a flat surface so the other guys said to jump to move again. Didn't help much if you can't control a snowboard. I spent a good 10 minutes jumping up and down moving nowhere. When I was finally moving, I did nothing but fall either on my face or my ass. It took about 30 minutes to get down the slope although if you knew how to ski or snowboard, it would have taken around 5-7 minutes. When I finally got to the bottom, I was dead tired. But I still wanted to snowboard. So I went up to the top again. This time my brother met up with another friend of his and they went down a different route. One that went past the toughest routes to ski. It took me about 10 minutes before I was able to get down a bit. I got stuck again and decided to take off my board and walk down to join the other beginners. The only problem was, I was so tired by that time that I carelessly let my board fall down the tough slope. To fetch it, I had to climb down. That part was easy. Getting back up was a bitch. I kept slipping and falling as I couldn't find good footing in soft snow. One of the guys had to climb down again and pull me up so I could finally get up. After that, I just decided to walk all the way down to the kiddy slopes and then put on my board. That's how the rest of the day went. I got toe down, but it makes my legs hella sore. I tried to get heel, but every time I tried it, I would stop too fast and throw myself forward landing in a faceplant.

"Sorrows gather around great souls as storms do around mountains; but, like them, they break the storm and purify the air of the plain beneath them."

People often seek a way to define who they are. For most people, they find it in their actions. For me, who I am is defined by my imagination for it is in the world of my imagination that I am truly myself.
I really appreciate it
